Information for clients

Arriving for your consultation with a medical specialist, laboratory tests

  • You should arrive 10 minutes before the time of your appointment to sign the contract for the provision of healthcare services. We will also need to fill in your medical history form.
  • Please arrive alone, without companions. People with mobility issues, the disabled, and children may arrive with a companion.
  • The patient must keep a safe distance of 2 meters from other visitors.
  • The patient must wear a protective face mask and disinfect his/her hands.
  • Only patients that have no symptoms of higher respiratory tract infections (temperature 37.7 or higher, cough, runny nose, etc.) will be admitted to the medical centre.
  • We will thoroughly disinfect the doctor’s room after every patient.
  • You will receive the results by email. We will send you an SMS message containing a password to view your results.

Please bring the following:

  • A valid ID document. If the patient is your child, bring their birth certificate or any other form of ID. If you are bringing a child for an appointment who is not your family member, please bring a notary-certified power of attorney.
  • If you have private insurance, please bring an insurance card.

Note: If you cannot attend your booked appointment, please let us know by replying to the reminder message with the word “NO”; you will receive this message prior to your appointment. Otherwise, call +370 46 433403.

Important: Please do not eat or drink liquids 12 hours before certain types of laboratory test. Ask your doctor how to prepare for the ordered lab tests or click here>> to find out.

Arriving for surgery

  • You should arrive 1 hour before the surgery, unless otherwise stated.
  • At the appointment desk, sign the contract for the provision of healthcare services. We will fill in your medical history form.
  • The staff will take you to the ward where you will be introduced to the pre-surgery information, complete the questionnaire and sign the consent for surgery.

Please bring the following items:

  • A valid ID document. If the patient is your child, please bring their birth certificate or any other form of ID. If you are bringing a child for an appointment who is not your family member, please bring a notary-certified power of attorney.
  • A referral for surgical treatment.
  • Valid blood test results and ECG.
  • Please note that before arriving for your surgery, you must be tested negative for COVID-19. You must be tested 48-72 hours before your surgery. A negative COVID-19 test is obligatory, except for the following:
  • – for those who recovered from COVID-19 (coronavirus infection) confirmed by a positive PCR test result, and maximum of 180 days have passed of the positive testing;
  • – for vaccinated people who received vaccine which had been registered within the European Union Register of medicinal products under the vaccination schedule.

Important: If you wish to have your blood test and ECG done at Northway Medical Centre, you should arrive 2 hours before the surgery. If you have private health insurance, please mention this immediately after booking the surgery. The insurance manager will contact your insurance company to arrange payment for the surgery.
