Correction of descent of pelvic organs and urinary incontinence by Milex rings

Descent, prolapse of pelvic organs and enuresis is a female problem that is mostly avoided to talk about, but which greatly affects the everyday life.

More than a half of women at the age of over 50 years, including younger women, suffer dislocation or prolapse of pelvic organs (uterus, vagina, rectum, urinary bladder, and urethra) of varying degree, usually followed by enuresis. The mains symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse are pulling feeling in genitalia, a bump coming out of genital tracts, feeling of pressure in genitalia, difficulties in urination, and fecal incontinence. The mains causes of these problems are childbirth, reduction or absence of muscle tone, menopause, obesity, generic diseases, pelvic injury or previous surgeries, constant lifting of heavy things, chronic constipation, etc.

On the early stages of the problem suffered by young women, they are recommended to take physiotherapeutic measures, and practise Kegel exercises for strengthening pelvic floor and perineum. On the stages of further disease development and presence of clear symptoms, for example, 2-3rd degree of prolapse, the problem may be solved by a surgical or minimally invasive methods. Minimally invasive method in correction of location of organs with silicone rings is applied in the cases when women do not wish to be operated, including women with contraindications to surgery due to concurrent diseases or due to the necessity to postpone the surgery. New generation Milex rings are produced from medical grade silicone. With proper care the rings will serve a long time, there also less risk of allergic reactions, patients feel less irritation or pressure bedsore of mucous membrane. Size and shape of Milex rings are selected subject to the degree of dislocation or prolapse, woman anatomy, and other important factors.
